Can I attend parts of the conference (keynote, fair, etc) without being registered? If you are not registered for the conference, you can still attend the keynote sessions by paying a $15 fee at the door. This also allows you admission into the post-keynote dance events as well.

Hampshire Dorm Room Policy

The majority of dorm rooms available are single bedrooms; a limited amount of double rooms will be reserved for families with children under 18 staying with a parent/guardian or couples with mobility challenges.  Dorm options do not have elevators, please email directly with mobility needs for proper dorm placement.

Dorm room rental fee is $39 per night. Double rooms are $50 per night. You will need to bring your own linens, pillow, and toiletries. We will have linen packages available for $15 on site (includes sheets, blanket, pillow, and two towels)

Single rooms: 1 single bed. Limit of 1 adult and 1 child per room.

Double rooms: Are limited to parent and child or couples with mobility issues.

Dorm Key Policy: Upon check in at registration, a $50 deposit per key/card set is required and will be held until check out. Please bring a check made out to "NOFA/Mass” for each key/card set. In the case that keys are not returned or lost, you will be required to pay an additional $150 for key replacement.

How does camping work at the conference? Campsites cost $23/night and sites will be located near portable facilities.  Flushing toilets and showers within short walking distance in the Robert Crown Center(RCC).

Is RV camping allowed? Yes.  Campers can register as staying in tents or RVs.  There will be assigned parking lots for RV’s. No hook-ups are available.


Can I purchase prepared meals at the conference? Yes! Vegetarian, non-vegetarian and vegan options (all organic) will be served in Hampshire’s dining hall.  You can buy any combination of all 7 meals – Friday dinner to Sunday lunch. Dining hall meals will also be for sale on a walk-in basis for an additional $1 per meal.

Are there alternative dining option at the conference? Yes. On The Kern Cafe located in Hampshire’s living Kern building is open from 7am - 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday and serves coffee, beverages, baked goods and sandwiches.

On Saturday, there will be one or more food vendors on site for lunch, throughout the fair and dinner.

Can I bring my own food? Of course! Many attendees eat on the cheap by packing a cooler and bringing their meals with them. Dormitories have shared refrigerators and basic kitchenettes.
