Are there scholarships available? Yes! Here’s more information.

Do groups receive discounts? Yes! Groups of 5 or more receive a 10% discount. Groups need to email a scanned copy or mail in their registration form postmarked by August 1st to take advantage of the group discount.

Can I attend parts of the conference (keynote, fair, etc) without being registered? If you are not registered for the conference, you can still attend the keynote sessions or the fair by paying a $15 fee at the door. This also allows you admission into the post-keynote dance events as well.

What are the policies for the Hampshire Dorm Rooms?  

The majority of dorm rooms available are single bedrooms; a limited amount of double rooms will be available for parent/guardian and child or couples with mobility challenges.  Dorm options do not have elevators; please email directly with mobility needs for proper dorm placement.

Dorm room rental fee is $38.50 per adult or teen per night. Housing for ages 12 & under is free.  It is required that children house with a guardian. You will need to bring your own sheets, blankets, pillow, and towel.

Single rooms: 1 single bed. Limit of 1 adult and 1 child per room.

Double rooms: Are very limited. Reserved for one parent traveling with a child, or couples with mobility restrictions.

Dorm Key Policy: A $200 check deposit per key/card set is required upon check in at registration. It will be held and returned to you when returning your key/card set at check out. Please bring a check made out to "NOFA/Mass” for each room reserved.

How does camping work at the conference? Campsites cost $22/night and sites will be located near portable facilities.  Flushing toilets and showers within short walking distance.

Is RV camping allowed? Yes.  Campers can register as staying in tents or RVs.  There will be assigned parking lots for RV’s. No hook-ups are available.


Can I purchase prepared meals at the conference? Yes! Vegetarian, non-vegetarian and vegan options (all organic) will be served in Hampshire’s dining hall.  Our annual Saturday dinner is all local! You can buy any combination of all 8 meals – Friday breakfast to Sunday lunch.  A limited number of dining hall meals will also be for sale on a walk-in basis at a walk-in rate.

Are there alternative dining option at the conference? Yes. On Saturday at the conference there will be food vendors on site during lunch and throughout the fair. Current vendors include the African Alliance from Providence, RI serving their famous Joloff and other delights, Georgina Sorpong serving African American Fusion, and NOFA-VT with its fabulous pizza oven.

Can I bring my own food? Of course! Many attendees eat on the cheap by packing a cooler and bringing their meals with them. Dormitories have refrigerators and basic kitchenettes.
